He is in all

He is Universal.

Not seen in Vanity

He is the First and the Last

The Least and the Greatest.

Last but not least

The Master of Dance

The Holder of Lance

His devotees are easily blessed.

Worship the three

To get the soul free

Of worldly bondage

It is life's Vantage.

 

TRUTH

 

Make life dearth of evil

Life a hearth, experience an anvil

Let each burning deed and thought

By the hammer of Nobility be Wrought.

LIFE'S TAPER

AS A PIECE OF MATCH KINDLES A LAMP;

ITS ONLY USE,

OR BURNS A WASTE TO BECOME DAMP

WITHOUT ANY USE;

SO LIFE'S TAPER IS TO KINDLE

THE SOUL DIVINE

ERE IT GOES TO DUST IN VAIN,

OR THE SOUL GOES ON THE LIFE'S SPINDLE!

OMNIPOTENT

THOU ART  THE MAKER OF THE UNIVERSE

THOU ART AWAY FROM THIS UNIVERSE

THOU ART THE SOUL OF THIS UNIVERSE

THOU ART THE TEACHER OF THIS UNIVERSE 

THOU ART THE MASTER OF THIS UNIVERSE

THOU ART  IN ALL IN THE UNIVERSE

THOU ART THE DESTROYER OF THI UNIVERSE

THOU ART PLAYING WITH THIS UNIVERSE

THOU ART PERMANENT

THOU HAST NO BEGINING

THOU HAST NO CENTRE

THOU HAST NO ENDING

THOU ART OMNIPOTENT!

THE ALMIGHTY!

Whom the wise serve without desire

Of  boons, sensual pleasures and treasures...

Not to have such, their only desire

Who giveth eternal life unto them and not tarrier

By singing whose sweet stories

That Master, that first and that transcendant power

That Beyond, that Perfection that lasts forever

That omnipotent soul of all this universe

To that Almighty I pray for union forever!

WHAT A MISTAKE!

To forget the Lord when Thous hast plenty

And to pray for mercy when thy store is scanty

Is like trying to dig a well

When on the house the flames do swell

Er like one that goes to beg

When he gets too weak to leg!

NEVER COME!

O! God! I pray thee come to me

But please never come to me

However much I call Thee

However much I pray Thee!

For this is an ugly cell

There are six tigers fierce

That every good thing repell

There are many fears.

So I pray Thee never come here,

However much I call Thee with fear.

I shall leave leave this cell anon

And fly to Thee in a run!

GOD INTOXICATION

Once look at the sun,

The glare blinds your eye,

You can no more see things so nigh

And this is the reason,

Why a man despiseth

All the pleasure and worldly bond

After once his mind he riseth

To know the Self or The Beyond!

After once gazing at The Sun

Close your eyes, you see the image bright

Why all this worldly reason? 

Know thyself, There is nothing so bright

And you can find The Infinite

In every thing worldly and finite.

THE SINNER!

 

O! For the sensual pleasures

You give all your life;

To find happiness in treasures-

That is all your aim of life.

All in this world and worldly things

The wretch for ever relies.

Despite the death, to this body clings

The soul and meanly lies.

Aghast! a ghost it becomes,

Forgets its nature to soar to the heaven

Alas! It loseth the Heaven it rightly becomes

And lingers here teasing his own even.

O! THEY SAY!

Thou heareth the prayers of all beings

Thou answereth the calls for mercy

And give Thy favours to all beings

Thou goeth to every creature

Why not once let me see

Thy form divine, and that be Thy feature!

 

I PRAY HIM!

Who maketh this universe

And in Whom it lieth

Who is in all this universe

And to do or undo in Whom the power lieth

Who is the Master and Maker of all and Himself

To Him I pray to raise myself!

WHERE IS GOD?

 

God!  Where is God?

Can you see Him anywhere?

They say, 'He is every where'!

You can't find but to nod.

He is so kind

You can find

And you see with eye and mind

with unbound devotion combined!

You may roam and ramble

He playeth hide and seek,

Until you gain that fortitude,

Inward turn your senses and within seek.

O! God! Lend me Thy helping hand;

Save me soon from my fall;

There may be a more miserable band

Making you many a call

Yet you are my only Saviour

So I pray Thee, lend Thine ear.

O! LORD!

Let me not cling to worldly possessions

Let me not strive for monetary things

Let me not waste my life for temporary pleasures

Let me not ponder over worldly things

Let me be possessed by the Infinite!

Let me be possessed by the love divine!
